Privacy Policy
Build in Perth ("we", "us") is operated by Richard Marsh, a new home sales consultant in Perth, Western Australia ABN 69 650 118 657. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you make an enquiry we collect the details you give us: your name, phone, email, buyer type, whether you own land, preferred area, budget band, timeframe and any message. We also collect basic technical information (such as pages visited and browser type) through our hosting provider and, if enabled, analytics or CRM tracking cookies.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange a consultation or display home visit.
- To talk with you about single-storey home designs and the building process.
- To pass your enquiry to our builder partner so they can prepare designs, quotes and contracts.
- To keep records and improve our website.
If you don't give us your details, we may not be able to respond.
Who we share it with
We may share your details with our builder partner (a registered WA building contractor) and with service providers that help us run this site and manage enquiries, such as Netlify (website hosting and forms) and HubSpot (customer relationship management). Some of these providers may store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We do not sell your personal information.
Marketing
With your consent we may contact you by phone, SMS or email about your enquiry. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, using an unsubscribe link, or emailing us.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing hello@buildinperth.com.au. We'll respond within a reasonable time (usually 30 days). If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect your information and delete or de-identify it when it is no longer needed.
